Exams



Midterm

The midterm will take place in class (ILC S211) on Wednesday, November 2, during the usual lecture time 4:00-5:15. It will cover the lectures on search, constraint satisfaction, knowledge representation and reasoning (lectures 1-12).

Sample midterm exams from 2013, 2011, 2009, and 2008 are available on-line. Note that unlike some previous exams, the midterm this semester will be a closed book exam.

Solution of these questions and additional review problems will be discussed in the review lecture on October 31.

Final

The final exam will take place in class (ILC S211) on Monday, December 19, between 3:30 - 5:30 PM. It will cover search, constraint satisfaction, knowledge representation, logical reasoning, uncertainty, Bayesian networks, sequential decision making, reinforcement learning, decision theory, and planning (lectures 1-22).
